Transactions: how you get things done

In SAP, almost everything you do is a transaction — a specific task with its own screen, like "create a sales order" or "post an invoice."

You reach a transaction either by typing its T-code in the command field, or by clicking its tile in Fiori. Either way, you land on a screen built for that one job.

If "transaction" sounds technical, just read it as "a task you do in SAP."
